Meet Emma

Emma Lang is a professional artist based out of Charleston, South Carolina.

She began her artistic journey from the moment she could hold a crayon. Before beginning college, she primarily focused on drawing, using only pen, graphite, and charcoal. It wasn’t until her sophomore year at the College of Charleston that she first began painting and fell in love with it.

Her business, Emma Lang Art, began in the summer of 2020, amid the COVID19 pandemic. Since beginning her business, Emma has continued to build upon it, while also being a full-time student

In May of 2022, Emma graduated college with a degree in Studio Art and became a full-time artist. She still continues to work in all mediums but finds the most joy in oil paint and watercolor.

Most of her inspiration for her art, is derived from her hometown, Charleston, SC, where she currently resides. She’s aims to capture the incredible beauty of the Lowcountry in her artwork.

When she’s not working in her at-home studio, Emma can be found at the beach, chasing sunsets, or getting coffee.
